Free Will Astrology:
"There's nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it's going to be a butterfly," said philosopher Buckminster Fuller. I encourage you to make that your personal motto in the coming weeks, Scorpio. From what I can tell, you are capable of generating a transformation that will look impossible to casual observers. You have the power to change something that everyone said would never change."
"That’s why there are big, bold warning signs on the sides of the cars, and why there are billboards leading up to the crossroad. That’s why the signals are lit up with flashing red lights, and why loud bells are sounding. Is the Pluto-Saturn-Uranus train on a intersect course with your path—that is, do you have planets, the Sun, Moon, Ascendant or Midheaven in early degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn? If so, are you reading and heeding those warning signals?
Or are you sitting there, stalled on the tracks, affirming and visualizing that the train won’t come after all, that it’ll be diverted onto a side track just in the nick of time? Or maybe praying that because you’ve been a really good, hardworking person your whole life, God will just make it go away?
If the Pluto-Saturn-Uranus train is on your path—that is, if major chart features are located at those early degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn—you have three options for coping with the clunkers in your life:
- keep the pattern but invest major sweat equity in fixing it
- junk it and walk to work for a while
- carpool.
Carrie Fisher sums it all up for you:
I could go thru a bunch of stories, wagging my tail, eager to please, all in a sometimes desperate attempt to get you to like me. Actually, I don’t want you to like me so much as be the greatest person you ever met. I want to explode in the night sky of your approval. So rather than going thru all that effort of charming you….. Pushing you to a state of grinning til your face hurts—– what are we pretending not to know here? Instead of frantically trying to coax your good opinion out of you like a crazed suitor, & in the name of saving a lot of energy on both sides I want to propose an understanding——- you loan me your good opinion & I’ll use it as down payment on a little place where I can go to when my bad weather threatens on the horizon—– where I can wait out the storm of uncertainty—-
If you think there is a lot of change about you and those you know, sit down and note the evolution in your life since March 2009. Who’s still around? Who’s gone? How have you altered? How have you improved? You may not have had time to track it but i betcha there has been a potent and distinct tracking upward, no matter what merde you’ve gone through.
And if not? I’d actually be more worried if nothing had altered…So, Saturn-Uranus-Pluto have a way to go on this track. The evolution continues. Saturn-Girl is still hard at work, helping you eliminate “tolerations” from your life and the person you were always meant to be. And, lol, it probably has a lot to do with getting the basics together so that you may better pursue your dreams."
From this week's Aquarium Age:
The Wheel of Life continues to move in a new direction this week, and as it alters the course of collective destiny, the smaller wheels of individual fate also have opportunities to adjust personal destinies. Don't be fooled by appearances: even if surface concerns remain the same – money, work, health, love – attitudes about those issues are shifting. We are in a potent transition, packed with creative power that can be put to good use envisioning and actualizing next steps. Be clear and precise about where you are and what you want to do next. Also be aware, this new frequency has a decidedly extraterrestrial feel, so don't be surprised if you or someone you love is dreaming about being abducted or channeling new information from Soltac on Sirius. Galactic signatures are always a part of consciousness shifts here on Earth, which means it's once again time to dust off those ET beanies, attune the antennae, and prepare to receive the next set of instructions.
Okay, so I don't know of any alien abductions of late, but let's just say I had a real freaky moment that this reminds me of yesterday. Specifically, someone else who doesn't seem like they'd be prone to this sort of thing having one. It really makes me wonder...
First, we're happy to announce that the team has identified and fixed the issue with the YouTube conduit; you can now find and add videos from YouTube to your library and posts. As always, thanks for your patience!
The other news we have today is about a new addition to the Six Apart family: TypePad Micro, a new free level of TypePad that is streamlined for microblogging. We see a new form of blogging emerging that lives between the quick status updates of Twitter and Facebook and the long-form posts of "classic" blogging; TypePad Micro is designed to meet that need. You can read more about TypePad Micro in Chris Alden's post on the Everything TypePad blog.
A lot of the new capabilities we've added to TypePad this year were actually inspired by some of the best things about Vox: favoriting, member profiles, a dashboard to follow other bloggers, and easy ways to post content from other social media sites. But the things that make Vox different from TypePad are still there: Vox has always been -- and still is -- the best place for "friends and family" blogging, where you're in control over who sees what. TypePad, on the other hand, is built for the blogger who wants, no, craves, attention.
Do you have a passion or interest you want to share with people beyond your Vox neighborhood? If so, we'd love it if you tried out TypePad Micro. Maybe you've always wanted to start that obsessive blog that's just about waffle restaurants. Or want a place to share videos of your favorite band (Jonas Brothers, anyone? Anyone? ...). TypePad Micro's great for those topic-specific blogs. Take it for a spin and let us know what you think.
On the Vox front, our designers are working on some cool new themes (coming soon!). We'd also love to hear your thoughts about where we should take Vox in the coming year. What are the key things you'd like to see for Vox? If you've had a chance to use TypePad this year, what are the features there that we should bring over to Vox? And, if you're thinking big thoughts, how could we connect the Vox and TypePad communities in order to bring together bloggers and their shared passions? Your feedback is really important to us, so please leave a comment here, or shoot me a message.
And again, thanks for your patience as we found and fixed the YouTube bug!

As many of you have noticed, the YouTube Conduit is not working. I am so sorry about this; I know how frustrating it is.
The team is looking into how to get this fixed and I will update you as soon as I hear something. In the meantime, not all is lost... There is a work-around for posting videos.
When you're in the Compose Screen, just click on "embed." Ignore the fact that it says "Widget" before everything because you can definitely use this to embed videos as well. You'll just need to input the embed code from the video, enter a title (if you want) and hit OK.
It might not show up perfectly in your compose screen, but when you hit "Save," your video should appear just the way you wanted it to.
Hopefully this will allow you to keep posting videos while we figure out what's happening on our end.
As always, thanks for your patience.
I know someone IRL with NN in 4th and he has the blingiest Christmas house you've ever seen.
"Okay, see that Sun in the 7th house? He HAS to be a in a relationship. Genuinely needs it to feel expressed in his life. But then he has the Mercury-Uranus right on the cusp of his House of Love…That’s needing absolute freedom in love so how apt that he sets up a publishing empire (Mercury) based around sexual freedom and a situation where he always has more or less three girlfriends but maybe not the necessity of true intimacy with any of them. Top marks for manifesting Mercury-Uranus so well. And Mercury is his chart ruler…If your chart ruler is aligned with Uranus, you WILL lead a trail-blazing life, one way or another."
Hoo boy!
